Kay Dechairo, MA, LPC

Kay has over 20 years experience counseling families, couples, children and individuals. She seeks to utilize and develop each family and individual’s strengths and resources which will better equip them to handle life challenges. She believes that many areas impact one’s ability to function optimally and works to address issues related to body, mind and spirit. Kay creates a safe, nurturing environment and has an honest, direct style.

Kay specializes in family and couples therapy and employs a variety of treatment methods. Kay has extensive experience in helping families to overcome issues such as trauma, marital conflict, co-parenting and attachment. Kay understands that relationships are not easy but essential to living a balanced, happy life. She believes quality of life is directly connected to the quality of one’s relationships. As part of her commitment to families, Kay also provides in-home therapy when it appears to be the most beneficial setting.

Kay's practice is research based and draws from a variety of therapeutic approaches. Kay makes use of each individual and family's distinctive strengths to determine the most effective approach possible.

Kelly Winters, MA, LPC

Kelly has extensive experience in child, family and individual therapy. She uses creative, evidence-based interventions that allow clients to personalize their experience and reach their goals. The development of each individual and family’s strengths is an integral part of Kelly’s therapeutic approach. She believes that by supporting the growth of these strengths, clients are able to create positive change.

Kelly is a highly skilled play therapist. Through a variety of play interventions Kelly is able to help children express themselves and begin to integrate past experiences. She also uses play therapy techniques combined with family therapy as an avenue for strengthening parent-child relationships. Kelly provides in-home therapy to specific clients when it appears to be the most beneficial approach.

Kelly believes that the therapeutic process should respect the unique strengths, needs and experience of each client and tailors her approach to meet individual needs.
